Food Not Bombs Meals
The Boston Chapter of Food Not Bombs normally serves a free and healthy vegan meal every week. We serve year round and strive to never miss a meal. Everyone is encouraged to come eat, volunteer, and share ideas. All are welcome at our table.
Food Not Bombs is run solely by volunteers and there are no “bosses” or “leaders.” We’re currently serving one meal weekly. We also sometimes serve at special events and protests. We’re working towards serving another regular meal. If you’d like to help, come join us on one of our meal days or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our meal schedule is:
9am-12pm: Cooking in Allston at 14 Harvard Ave, 2nd floor in the Brazilian Worker Center, MA.
1pm-4pm: Serving at Central Square, Cambridge, MA.
near Central Square Station, at intersection of Mass Ave and River St.

Saturday Haymarket Food Rescue
6pm-9pm: Rescuing food from the Haymarket Farmer’s Market after it closes and they throw all the food out. We save as much food as we can, and drive it to Bridge Over Troubled Waters, St Mary’s, Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, and Y2Y! We always need people who want to help lift vegetables, load them up, and drive them!
We need people to help carry, sort and drive produce to various shelters in Boston area.
There are additional Resources available in and around Boston, too.
